含羞草视频 invites all K-12 teachers to a FREE Technology Workshop on Wednesday, September 17,from 5 鈥 7 p.m. Presented by nationally-renowned educators and technology experts Dr. Ike Shibley, Dr. Ollie Dreon and Dr. Tim Wilson, teachers will learn to enhance and improve instruction through technology.

Facilitators Bio鈥檚

Dr. Ivan A. 鈥淚ke鈥 Shibley, Jr., is associate professor of chemistry at Penn State Berks. He has won both local and university-wide awards for his teaching including the Eisenhower Award presented to a tenured Penn State faculty member who exhibits excellent teaching as well as mentoring other teachers. He received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from East Carolina University. He now teaches organic chemistry, biochemistry, philosophy of science, bioethics and the senior science seminar. Ike presents his work on blended learning at numerous professional conferences and has become a leading advocate of blended learning.

Dr. Timothy D. Wilson is an associate professor at the University of Western Ontario in the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is part of a teaching team of gross anatomists who provide anatomical training to science students in kinesiology, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy in addition to the medical and dental students at the school. Tim has received numerous citations of excellence in every year of his teaching career. He is recognized as a leader and an innovator in pedagogy. He has won both departmental and university level teaching awards and was cited as one of his provinces鈥 best lecturers. Tim鈥檚 postdoctoral training at the University of Pittsburgh was in neuroscience.

Dr. Oliver 鈥淥llie鈥 Dreon is an associate professor at Millersville University of Pennsylvania in the School of Education. Ollie teachers a wide variety of education and instructional technology courses both in face-to-face and online formats. He is the Director of Millersvilles鈥 Center for Academic Excellence and also coordinates the university鈥檚 Digital Learning Studio. He is the co-author of the book Authentic Instruction with Technology: A Student-Centered Approach and has published in various journals including the Middle Level Journal, Tech Trends and Teachers and Teaching. Ollie speaks nationally on the integration of technology in classroom settings. He holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State. His research interests include teacher development and how learning communities can be supported through the use of technology.
