The Mia Taylor Foundation is selling trees to celebrate Earth Day and raise funds for the scholarship in honor of the late º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ student.

There will be 150 seedlings – 50 Eastern Redbuds, 50 White Dogwoods and 50 Sugar Maples – available from 1-3 p.m. April 22 in Elmwood Park.

The foundation is seeking a minimum $20 donation for each tree. Donations can be made to the Mia Taylor Foundation or º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ – The Mia Taylor Scholarship Fund.

All donations received will be applied to the Mia Taylor Environmental Sustainability Scholarship at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ or the Mia Taylor Environmental Experiential Learning Fellowship.

Mia was a sophomore pre-med major with a minor in environmental sustainability, a passion near and dear to her heart. The Mia Taylor Environmental Sustainability Scholarship at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ was created by her father, Shane, following her untimely passing in November 2020.
