With the support of the National Science Foundation, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ offers a unique and competitive program for academically talented students who excel in STEM. Our Marie Curie ScholarshipÌýprovides significant financial support and resources for young womenÌýwho want to major in Biology, Chemistry, or Mathematics.

You could receive up to $20,000 toward your º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ education each year while you live on campusÌýand continue toÌýmeet program requirements. That is up to $80,000 for a four-year degree! Marie Curie Scholars receive academic support from tutors, gain research opportunities, enjoy a community of bright, science and math-minded women,Ìýand participate in seminars and student clubs.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Accepted into º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ
  • Student must declare a STEM major in Biology, Chemistry, or Mathematics
  • Student must be living on campus
  • Complete the Marie Curie application with your admission counselor
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Suggested Guidelines:

  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Open to learning about in-demand STEM careers
  • Demonstrate interest in STEM through completion of advanced courses, STEM clubs, STEM camps, etc.

2. Submit Essay (within application)

We want to learn about what inspired your interest in STEM, your future goals, and the ways you learn best.

  • Please tell us about the academic or personal experiences over the last four years that inspired your interest in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
  • What are your career goals after graduation from college?
  • What makes you excitedÌýabout this field?
  • What moments, classes, people, or activities helped shape your goals for college and your future career or graduate school plans?
  • What strategies, environments, or experiences best support your learning and personal growth?
  • Additionally, explain how living and learning on campus, surrounded by peers who share your academic and personal interests, could enhance your classroom experience, research opportunities, and participation in campus life.

3. Personal Interview

Once we have receivedÌýall documents, you will be required to participate in a virtual interview by CSM's Director of theÌýMarieÌýCurieÌýScholars Program. When your application is complete, Ìýsomeone from admissions will schedule the required interview for selected applicants.Ìý

Seven Marie Curie Scholarships are offered each year. Please note that students accepted to the pre-OTD, pre-physician assistant, andÌýphysician assistant studies programs are not eligible for this award.
